Agnes M. Lapinsky Agnes M. Lapinsky, 101, formerly of Princeton (Slippery Rock Township), passed away peacefully on Monday afternoon, Feb. 11, 2019, at Avalon Place in New Castle.
Agnes was born in Ellwood City on Jan. 7, 1918, to the late August and Helen Wagner Tetmeir.
She was a member of Oak Grove Presbyterian Church.
Agnes worked at Curtis Wright Co. in Vanport and later at Shenango Pottery and Johnson Bronze in New Castle.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Lapinsky, who died Jan. 23, 2007.
She is survived by two sisters, Helen "Sue" Tetmeir of Ellwood City and Elizabeth Stasick of Tampa, Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded by in death by four brothers, Gus, Fritz, John and William "Willie" Tetmeir; and a sister, Pauline Brdar.
Friends will be received from noon to 1 p.m. Friday at the Turner Funeral Home, 500 Sixth St., Ellwood City.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Marsha Parrish officiating.
Burial will follow in Mount Hermon Cemetery.
