Angeline C. "Lena" Forletta passed away on Nov. 17, 2017, in Bonita Springs, Fla., where she lived with her daughter.
She was born on Feb. 12, 1928, in Ellwood City, Pa.
Lena was a former employee of Shenango Pottery. She also had worked as a bookkeeper for Credit Union Management and Ellwood City Hospital. Lena loved spending time with her family and cooking traditional Sunday dinners. She enjoyed bingo cards, and occasional casino trips.
Angeline is survived by her children, Sherina Forletta Tiberia of Bonita Springs, Fla., John A. Forletta (and Cora Lee) of Albuquerque, N.M., and Albert H. (and Tracy) Forletta Jr. of New Castle, Pa. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Rhonda (Glen) Bowers, Brandon (Celia) Forletta, Amanda Forletta, Kristina Forletta and Amy Forletta; one great-grandchild, Ava Lauro; her nieces and nephews, Pamela and Paulette Pogozelec, Larry (Nancy) Forletta, Steve (Judy) Fedor, Linda Grant, Sylvia (Fran) Monsman, George (Ingrid) Fedor; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Forletta; her father, Serafino Tribuzio; her mother, Josephine DiLeonardo Tribuzio; her brothers, John, Carl and Richard Tribuzio; and her sisters, Claire (Paul) Pogozelec and Mary Tribuzio.
Visitation will be held Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 S. Mill St. Blessing services will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, officiated by Father Zachary Galiyas.
Interment will take place in St. Vitus Cemetery.
