Arthur "Art" Ealy, 94, of 1010 Pine Glen Road, Pulaski, passed away the morning of Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2017, at his residence.
Art was born on Oct. 9, 1923, in Chicora, Pennsylvania to the late Albert and Ruth Crowford Ealy.
He married the former Delores Constintine. They were married for 67 years. She preceded him in death on March 25, 2016.
Mr. Ealy worked for Youngstown Sheet and Tube as a maintenance foreman for 35 years. Art served his country as a corporal in the Army during World War II. He served his country in Germany and received five medals for his service.
Art loved to go fishing and hunting. He spent many vacations with his family in Canada fishing. His greatest love was as a founding member of the New Castle Country Music Association. Art especially enjoyed time spent with his grandchildren and family.
Survivors include his daughters, Donna J. Smith of Pulaski and Jackie L. (Andrew D.) Crepp of Enon Valley; his son, David A. Ealy of Pulaski; his sister, Eleanor Leech Ietto of Butler; two grandchildren, Corey Crepp and Michelle (Greg) Goodrum; and three great-grandchildren, Devin Crepp, Cassidy Crepp and Micheala Goodrum.
Art was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Delores; three brothers, Calvin (Buz) Ealy, Robert Ealy and infant Tommy Ealy; and three sisters, Dorothy Ellen Kaiser, Betty Iman and Corine Ealy.
Visitation hours will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. Thursday at the Noga Funeral Home Inc., 1142 S. Mill St.
A Blessing service will be conducted by Deacon John Carran at 6 p.m. Thursday following visitation.
Entombment will be in the America's Cemetery, Hermitage.
