Charles 'Snook' Rockland Chambers, 59, of Beaver, formerly of New Castle, died Monday, Dec. 11, 2017, at Heritage Valley Medical Center in Beaver.
He was born June 24, 1958, in New Castle, a son of the late Charles Chambers and Beatrice (DeHass) Leckwart. His mother survives in New Castle.
Mr. Chambers was an aide at the Youth Development Center in New Castle, retiring after 14 years.
He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, enjoyed classic cars and going to 'Back to the '50s.' He also rode motorcycles, hunted and played softball.
Above all, he loved his four granddaughters.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two daughters, Chasidee A. Garove and husband, Chris, of Bessemer, and Krystal M. Chambers of Ellwood City; a brother, Timothy Chambers of Mercer; two sisters, Elizabeth Chambers of New Castle and Kimberly Clayton of North Sewickley; and four granddaughters, Jaliyah Chambers, Malayah Williams, Alayna Garvoe and Adelyn Garove.
He was also preceded in death by his stepfather, Ralph Flowers.
There are no services scheduled at this time.
