Cindy M. Pallerino, 60, of Union Township passed away the morning of Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2018, at her residence.
Born on March 22, 1958, in New Castle, she was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Penwell, and her mother, June Dryfuse.
On July 7, 1980, she married her beloved husband, Fred Pallerino Jr., and he survives at home.
Cindy had worked as a custodian at Union Elementary School for 16 years, where she loved her job and being with all the school children.
Cindy also enjoyed going to bingo and visiting casinos, but her true joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She was a member of Mary, Mother of Hope Parish.
Cindy is survived by two daughters, Marcia Eppinger and her husband, Shawn, of New Castle, and Shelly Mayberry and her husband, Joe, of New Castle; several stepbrothers and stepsisters; grandchildren, Kara Mayberry, Kameron Pallerino, Brandon Eppinger, Kayla Eppinger and Breanna Eppinger; and a great-grandchild, Sofia Pallerino.
Honoring her wishes, there are no calling hours and the service is private.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 S. Mill St.

I worked with her here at Silver Oaks Nursing Center. She was a very hard worker and loved the residents. She will be missed and we loved her. Always went out of her way for others.

We love you and will miss you dearly.

Cindy was an unbelievable fighter, she definitely made the summer work fun, I'm going to miss her jokes and her laughter. She will truly be missed.
