Daniel  Micaletti Sr.


Daniel Micaletti Sr., 64, of Glendale, Arizona passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at home on Thursday, Aug. 22, 2019.
Born on Oct. 31,1954, in New Castle, Danny was the fifth of seven boys born to Harry and Margaret Micaletti Jr.
He grew up in New Castle, fondly known as "Bones" and graduated from New Castle High School, class of 1972. Shortly thereafter, he moved to Atlanta, Georgia and became a traveling salesman. Danny loved to talk with people, which he found it easy to make money doing what he loved. He never met a stranger he didn't like.
Danny married the love of his life, Judith Elizabeth Smith, on Jan. 3, 1978. After their first son, Daniel Jr., was born, they moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1980, where Danny became a very successful District Manager for a wholesale merchandiser. Their second son, Nicholas, was born in Phoenix a few years later. Over the years, Danny had various businesses and jobs. With his giant personality and love of life and people, he made many friends along the way.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Judy; his sons, Daniel Jr. and Nicholas; his grandson, Jackson Daniel Micaletti; and his five brothers, Paul, Donald, David, Michael and Robert.
Danny was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Tommy.
He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
Visitiation will be 3 to 4 p.m. Friday and service will follow at 4 p.m. at Best Funeral Services, 9380 W. Peoria Ave., Peoria, Ariz. 85345. Reception will follow from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home (food and beverages).

Danny was great kid came from really nice family. We grew up near each other . Our neighborhood was great place to live. The Mccalettis helped make our neighborhood fun place to grow up. RIP Danny from Diann Redmond Graziani
