David Dudash, 73, of New Castle passed away the afternoon of Thursday, Jan. 11, 2018, at UPMC Jameson Hospital.
He was born on Oct. 8, 1944, in New Castle. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Dudash, and mother and stepfather, Evelyn Shook Llewellyn and William Llewellyn.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, the former Lisa Rotunno, whom he married on Dec. 23, 1981.
David retired in 2006.
He was a member of Mary, Mother of Hope Parish.
David was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan and loved attending his son's hockey and softball games.
He enjoyed taking care of his beloved dog, Mattie.
In addition to his wife, David is survived by his children, Ryan Dudash and Jason Dudash, both of New Castle; and all of his family from Chicago, Kevin Dudash, Kenneth Dudash, Keith Dudash and Cheryl Croll.
In addition to his father, mother and stepfather, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald L. Dudash.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 S. Mill St.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Interment will take place in Graceland Cemetery.
