Domenick Anthony Palmer Jr., 82, of Martinsburg, West Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2017, at the Berkeley Medical Center.
Born on Aug. 4, 1934, in New Castle, he was a son of the late Domenick Anthony Palmer and Rose Frank Palmer.
He was a veteran of the Army.
He was a member of St. Leo Roman Catholic Church.
Domenick was an active member of the Order of Sons of Italy Dan Di Mucci Lodge, Knights of Columbus of Inwood, Elks Lodge 378, American Legion Post 14 and the International Cake Exploration Society.
He had been a florist for Van Tol Florist, an Arthur Murray Dance instructor, cosmetology instructor for International House of Beauty and owner and operator of House of Milo Beauty Salon in Rockville, Maryland.
He is survived by Joseph Ash; a sister, Rosemarie Cozza of New Castle; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Andrew, Charles, Toby and James Palmer; and two sisters, Madeline Batt and Delores Rubies.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Leo Catholic Church with the Rev. Alfred Obiudu serving as celebrant.
Interment prayers will be said at 2 p.m. at Christ Reformed Cemetery, Middletown, Maryland.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Brown Funeral Home, 327 W. King St., Martinsburg, West Virginia. Rosary will take place at 6 p.m. and a wake will be held at 7:30 p.m.
