Dorothy McNally Baker, 85, of New Castle passed away the evening of Dec. 9, 2017, at Family Hospice Inpatient Center/Lawrenceville in Pittsburgh, Pa.
Born March 18, 1932, in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Neyman and Martha (Smith) McNally.
Mrs. Baker was preceded in death by her husband, Donald B. Baker, whom she married May 2, 1969.
Dorothy was a graduate of New Castle High School, class of 1949. After graduation, she attended Geneva College. She was employed at Universal Rundle, W.G. Eckles Co., and Prothero & Parco, where she later retired.
Dorothy was also a member of Northminster Presbyterian Church, where she served as a deacon.
Dorothy enjoyed many various activities such as reading, music and theater arts, traveling. She also loved to spend time with her family.
Dorothy is survived by a son, Brett E. (Tanis) Baker of Cleveland Heights, Ohio; a stepdaughter, Donna (William) Martello of Tampa, Fla.; four stepgrandchildren; and seven stepgreat-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Dec. 12, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. A service will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 13, at 11 a.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle, Pa.
Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery.
