Ella's Story

Ella Williamson Cole, 72, of Schiller Park, Illinois, passed away at the residence of her daughter, Linda M. Innamorato, in Illinois the morning of Monday, June 12, 2017, after an illness.
She was born in New Castle on June 22, 1944, to the late Roy and Margaret Sipe Williamson.
Ella was a graduate of Wilmington High School in 1962, and was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Chicago.
Ella formerly was a supervisor for United Airlines in the packing department.
She loved to travel and even took her children to Hawaii. Her favorite place was to come back to Pennsylvania to be with her family. She was the glue that held everyone together. She loved to have all her family together for birthdays and holidays.
Survivors include her daughter, Linda Innamorato of Antioch, Illinois; her son, Robert S. Cole Jr. of Antioch, Illinois; two sisters, Grace McFall of Volant and Linda Lee Kloss of New Castle; and five grandchildren, Robert Andrew Cole, Daniel Charles Cole, Angelina Nicole Innamorato, Johnny Robert Innamorato and Katrina Marie Innamorato.
Ella was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, James Gary Williamson.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Smith Funeral Home, 310 W. Neshannock Ave., New Wilmington.
The time and place for the funeral service will be announced.
Interment will follow at Fair Oaks Cemetery, New Wilmington.
