Esther's Story

Esther Louise Milton Morris, 90, of Mercer Street, Pulaski, Pa., died Tuesday morning, Oct. 10, 2017, at Golden Hill Nursing Home, New Castle, Pa.
Esther was born in Black Lick, Indiana County, Pa., on Nov. 4, 1926, to the late Ellsworth and Hazel Milton.
Her first husband, Charles Parris, died in 1944 in World War II. She then married Richard Morris in 1946 and he died in 1999.
Esther was a Union High School graduate, a member of the United Methodist Church of Pulaski, and the Farrell Chapter OES.
Survivors include two daughters, Jean Ann (Paul) Unverdorben and Diana Kelly, both of West Middlesex, Pa.; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by brothers, Stanley "Buck," Al, Kenneth and Vincent "Ben"; one sister, Marie Snyder; and two sons,Terry and Rick.
Visitation will be Thursday, Oct. 12, 2017, from 3 p.m. until the funeral service at 6 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home, 3126 Main St., West Middlesex, Pa. Rev. Rebecca Rosengarth, pastor of the church, will officiate. Interment will be at Fair Oaks Cemetery, New Wilmington, Pa.
