Frances T. Hink Frances T. Hink, 103, formerly of North Ashland Avenue, passed away the morning of Sept. 7, 2018, at her residence on 236 Sunset Drive, New Castle, with her daughter Grace by her side.
Frances was born Dec. 28, 1914, in New Castle. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Magusiak Cwynar. Frances was married to the late Joseph H. Hink. He preceded her in death in 1976. They were married for 41 years.
Mrs. Hink was a high school graduate.
Mrs. Hink will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother by her family. Frances enjoyed baking, cooking, crocheting, gardening and birdwatching. She loved her dog "Rocky" and loved watching the Pittsburgh Pirates.
She donated her many talents to churches as well as local nursing homes throughout the years. Frances loved going to Challenges, especially on Halloween.
Frances was a former member of Madonna Church until it closed.
Mrs. Hink is survived by four daughters, Grace Ann Hink of New Castle, Cynthia A. Martin of Wampum, Patricia A. (David) Summers of Bessemer and Joanne R. (Milan) Zorinich of California; a son, Kenneth J.(Carol) Hink of Florida; a sister, Bernice Polansky of Houston, Texas; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband Joseph, Frances was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Ronald Martin.
Visitation will be held from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 13, 2018, at the Noga Funeral Home Inc., 1142 S. Mill St. The family and friends will then meet at the Prevailing Word World Outreach Center, the former Madonna Church, for a funeral service at 11 a.m. Apostle David Young, Pastor of Prevailing Word World Outreach Ministry, will officiate. Burial will be in Madonna Cemetery.
