Glenn's Story

Glenn R. Godwin, 61, of Chippewa Township died unexpectedly on Monday, Dec. 18, 2017, as the result of an automobile accident.
Born March 11, 1956, in New Castle, he was the son of Ruth Moore Godwin of New Wilmington and the late Lawrence Godwin.
He had attended the First Presbyterian Church in Beaver and had previously been a volunteer firefighter with the Chippewa Township Volunteer Department. He had been employed at Crucible Steel, J&L Steel, and ATI. He was currently a consultant for Koppel Steel Co.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Ron Lintner.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 41 years, Denise Keppen Godwin; two sons and daughters-in-law, Greg and Kristie Godwin of Hamilton, Ohio, and Mark and Maegan Godwin of Brighton Township; 11 grandchildren; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Shirley (Bill) Braatz, Beverly Lintner and Karen (Dan) Monaco; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Carl and Betty Keppen; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the Hill & Kunselman Funeral Home, 3801 Fourth Ave., College Hill, Beaver Falls, where the service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Henry Knapp officiating. Private interment in Concord Cemetery, North Sewickley Township.
