NEW MIDDLETOWN, OHIO - Irma Zupancic, 88, a resident of Masternick Memorial Health Care Center in New Middletown, Ohio, passed away Monday morning, Oct. 2, 2017.
Irma was born in Chicago on July 28, 1929. She was the only child of Andrew and Josephine Sipka.
She attended high school in Chicago and married her husband Adam Zupancic on Sept. 24, 1949; they were lovingly married for 65 years.
They retired to Enon Valley, Pa., and enjoyed their family and socializing with their friends at the SNPJ Recreation Center. One of their favorite things was enjoying breakfast together at the Golden Rye Restaurant and making friends wherever they went.
Irma leaves a legacy of kindness and compassion in everything she did. She always had a quick wit and smile for everyone around her.
Irma will be greatly missed and is survived by daughter, Deborah (Tom) Ksobiech of Urbandale, Iowa, and Andrea (Larry) Kamicker of Enon Valley; daughter-in-law, Nancy Zupancic of Riverside, Ill.; and her six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Irma was preceded in death by her husband Adam and son Michael.
The family would like to thank the family she acquired at Masternick Memorial and for every single staff member there. Their love, care and support for her and her family will never leave our hearts.

A memorial service will be scheduled for a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Terry A. Cunningham Funeral Home in Bessemer, Pa.
