J. Jude Reinhard, 80, of Highland Terrace Apartments, Neshannock Township, passed away peacefully the afternoon of Monday, June 12, 2017, at The Grove Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, New Wilmington.
Mr. Reinhard was born on Jan. 19, 1937, in New Castle, a son of Carl B. and Elsie A. Gillespie Reinhard.
He was raised in New Castle and was a 1958 graduate of New Castle High School.
Jude entered the Army in 1965, and was honorably discharged in 1967.
A Born Again Christian, Jude dedicated his life to the Lord. He touched many lives through his conversion to Jesus Christ, and also used his faith to help others facing addiction.
He is survived by a son, Bruce P. Taylor and his wife, Dia, of Chiang Mai, Thailand; three sisters, Helen L. French of New Castle, Mary R. Dominicis of Charlottesville, Virginia, and Madelon Logan of Cleveland, Ohio; two brothers, Thomas A. Reinhard of Cleveland and Daniel Reinhard of Chicago; and four grandchildren, Joshua, Josiah, Clare and Aleesa.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Charlotte Cozza; and a brother, Carl F. Reinhard.
There will be no calling hours.
A private service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 111 W. Falls St., New Castle.
