Jackie died at Moffitt Cancer and Research Center following a short but fierce battle with Stage 4 lung, bone and skin cancers. The disease never crushed his hopeful loving spirit or removed his contagious smile.
He was a graduate of New Castle High School and member of Third Presbyterian Church.
Over his lifetime, he managed numerous and varied businesses throughout Texas and Florida.
Jackie's steadfast love always focused on family, pets and friends, all of whom will miss him dearly.
He is survived by his wife, the former Stacey Fotopoulos of St. Petersburg, Florida; her children, Matt, Stephanie and Katie, all residing in Florida; a daughter, Giana Pace; son-in-law, Chad Williamson; and grandson, Carter Williamson of 5719 Brooklyn Ave., Sarasota, Florida 34231; parents, Jack and Augusta (Kitty) Campbell, 1010 N. Beaver St., New Castle; a brother, Jon Campbell; sister, Diane Benedict-Caughey and brother-in-law, Bob Caughey, 308 Benedict Lane, New Galilee.
Other surviving family members include four nephews, a niece, their children and cousins. Throughout his life, Jack was associated with numerous charitable organizations and holding a steadfast belief in God, helped many in need.
A memorial service will take place 6 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 5, at New Life Baptist Church
