Janice Arlene Kradel Klink, 79, of Concord, California, passed away on May 23, 2017.
Janice, by definition means honest, benevolent, brilliant and full of inspirations. She truly filled those shoes/heels well.
Born on Sept. 8, 1937, in New Castle to Clarence and Nancy Kradel.
She graduated from New Castle High School.
In August 1956, she married the love of her life, Carl "Fred" Klink Jr. During their 45-plus year union, God blessed them with three precious children.
She was referred to as our "Blessed Mother." In 1979, the family ventured to Concord, California, where she continued her 38-year active membership at Calvary Temple Church.
Her career included more than 20 years as the dedicated executive church secretary extraordinaire. Many members adopted her as their church Mom. She also shared her love with Oak Park Assembly Church.
She and Carl "Fred" spent many hours traveling the country with friends from the CMA/Christian Motorcycle Association until his call to heaven in 2002. She had a passion for the Hawaiian Islands and visited there often with family and her friend, Betty Davis. She was an avid member of Active Adults Sunday School class, Ladies Bible Study and Women's Ministry.
She and her signature red lipstick will be missed by many family and friends till we meet again.
She is survived by her brother, James Kradel of New Castle; her three children, Laurie (John) Davis of Redding, California, Shari (Gary) Case of Concord and Carl F. (Teresa) Klink III of Paradise, California; 10 grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Welcoming her to Heaven are her husband, parents and sisters, Donna (Gerald) Higgins and Nancy (Ronald) Pauletich.
She and Carl had previously traveled to the Holy Land. Now, they are together, traveling on the REAL Holy Land Trip!
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at Calvary Temple Church, 4725 Evora Road, Concord, California.
