Jean  Knight
Jean Wright Campbell Knight, 96, formerly of Union Township, passed away the evening of Oct. 9, 2019, at Shenango on the Green with her family by her side.
Born on Jan. 1, 1923, in Enon Valley, she was a daughter of the late Balcer and Mae Laird Wright.
Jean was married to her first husband, Claude Campbell, who preceded her in death on Oct. 13, 1969. She then married her second husband, William Knight who preceded her in death in 1976.
In the early years, Jean had worked at Shenango China and Bell Telephone. She later worked as a candy maker for Sotus Candy and Caiazza Candy.
Jean was a lifelong member of Wesley United Methodist Church.
Jean enjoyed playing cards and had been a member of her card club for more than 70 years.
Her greatest joy was the time she spent with her family.
Jean is survived by her four children, Ed Campbell and his wife, Gail, Bruce Campbell and his wife, Sandy, Ken Campbell and his wife, Dorothy, and Kathy Egbert and her husband, Randy; two sisters, Virginia Dice and Betty Knight; seven grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and two husbands, Jean was preceded in death by her brother, Frank Wright; and her sister, Olive Clark.
In honoring her wishes, there is no visitation or service. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 S. Mill St.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Senior Care Fund at Shenango on the Green Senior Care, 238 S. Market St., New Wilmington, Pa. 16142.

Sorry I couldn’t be with you at this time of sorrow. I was not in Pennsylvania. She brought a lot of joy to everyone she met. Her wonderful smile will be missed.🙏🙏🙏🙏

i knew Jean from shenango on the green she was a wonderfall lady i will miss her sweet smile and tals at lunch with Ann Pope, and the girls also playing bingo with her may god bless rest in peace Jean Paulette Muscarella
