I remember Joe fondly growing up. He was the "Babe Ruth" of our fast-pitch rubberball league when we played at the old Oak Street school. We even celebrated when he broke the "Babe's" home run record. He was such an even-tempered person. I had not seen Joe in many years but the last time I saw him reminded me of those days gone by, more innocent times. May Joe find peace and I am sure he has his glove with a rubberball in it looking for someone to play.
