Joseph Flack, 78, formerly of 4286 Slope Hill Road, Mt. Pleasant, Pennsylvania, passed away the afternoon of Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2017, at Mountainview Specialty Care, Greensburg, Pennsylvania.
Joseph was born Nov. 5, 1939, in New Castle. He was a son of the late Michael and Catherine Hrebik Flack.
Joseph previously resided at the Grove in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. He attended New Castle School System.
Mr. Flack retired after 30 years of service in the maintenance department at Castle View Memorial Gardens.
He enjoyed recycling old motors and appliances. Joseph loved dogs of all kinds. He was a fan of Polka music. Mr. Flack was known as a very kind-hearted person. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends.
Joseph is survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Catherine Stolitca.
Calling hours are 1 to 3 p.m. Friday at the Noga Funeral Home Inc., 1142 S. Mill St.
A Blessing service and Rite of Committal will be held at 3 p.m. at the funeral home, following visitation. The Rev. Richard Salley, pastor of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, will officiate.
Burial will be in Castle View Memorial Gardens.
