Josephine's Story

Josephine Muccitelli Beezley, 93, of Baltimore, Maryland, formerly of New Wilmington, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2017, in Glen Meadows Retirement Home, Glen Arm, Maryland.
Josephine was born on March 26, 1923, in Altoona, a daughter of Frank and Thersa Caparucio Muccitelli.
She married William Hugh Beezley on Sept 13, 1945. He preceded her in death on Jan 29, 1957.
Josephine served our country in the Marine Corps during World War II.
Josephine was an Altoona High School.
She worked as a secretary at Westminster College, New Wilmington, for more than 30 years.
She was a member of the New Wilmington Presbyterian Church.
Josephine is survived by a daughter, Ann Elizabeth Beezley of Baltimore; a sister, Joanne (Fred) Beck of Altoona; and three brothers, Rudolf Muccitelli of Altoona, Nicky Muccitelli of Green Valley, Arizona, and Anthony Muccitelli of Lawndale, California.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers, Kenneth and Frank Muccitelli; and a sister, Angela Muccitelli-Prosperi.
Friends will be received from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday at the Smith Funeral Home, 310 W. Neshannock Ave., New Wilmington.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Matt Camlin, pastor of New Wilmington Presbyterian Church, officiating.
Interment will be at Neshannock Cemetery, New Wilmington.
