Joyce Kay Falatko, 87, of 763 Seventh St., West Pittsburg, passed away the evening of April 8, 2019, at Life Care Center of New Port Richey, Florida.
Joyce was born May 29, 1931, in New Castle. She was the daughter of the late Theodore and Mary Rubbo Pavkovich. Joyce was married to John M. Falatko for the past 68 years. He survives at home.
Mrs. Falatko was Roman Catholic faith and attended St. Vincent de Paul Parish. Joyce was a graduate of New Castle High School, class of 1948.
Joyce retired after more than 60 years as an Interior Designer/Decorator, first for the J.R. Frew Company and Haney's Furniture.
Mrs. Falatko enjoyed traveling with her husband, playing golf and sewing. She enjoyed visiting with her high school friends at lunch throughout the year. Joyce enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband John, Joyce is survived by a son, Michael J. (Judy) Falatko of Cass City, Michigan; sister, Marilyn (Jack) Conwell of New Castle; daughter-in-law, Robin Falatko of West Pittsburg; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Falatko was preceded in death by her parents; son, David J. Falatko; and two brothers, Ted and John Pavkovich.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, April 14, 2019, at the Noga Funeral Home Inc. 1142 S. Mill St.
A procession will leave the funeral home Monday at 9:30 a.m. for St. Vincent de Paul Parish, where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Rev. Joseph McCaffrey, pastor of St. Vincent de Paul Parish, will officiate. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
