Judith R. DiMuccio, 74, of New Castle passed away the afternoon of Saturday, March 10, 2018, at UPMC Shadyside Hospital.
Born on Aug. 7, 1943, in New Castle, she was a daughter of the late Tilden W. and Louella McHale Rue.
Surviving at home is her beloved husband of 56 years, Michael A. DiMuccio Sr., whom she married on June 23, 1961.
Judith had worked as a waitress for the East Wind Restaurant for 21 years, and she also worked in special events for California Street Rods with her husband for more than 12 years.
She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Church.
A social butterfly, Judith loved being with people and especially cherished the time she spent with her family and friends.
In addition to her husband, Judith is survived by her children, Michael DiMuccio Jr. and wife, Sherry, and Christine Amabile and husband, Nicholas Jr., all of New Castle; sisters, Nancy St. Clair of Tallmadge, Ohio, and Norma Goodman of Red Bluff, California; grandchildren, David DiMuccio, Ashley Amabile, Taylor Peak and Allyson Amabile; and great-grandchildren, Ryan and Frankie.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Nicholas Austin Amabile; and brother, Gary Rue.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 S. Mill St.
Blessing services will be conducted at 6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, officiated by the Rev. James Downs.
Entombment will take place in Castle View Memorial Gardens.
