Julia A. Boczar


Julia A. Boczar, of New Castle passed away the morning of Thursday, Jan. 31, 2019.
She was born in New Castle. She was a daughter of the late Stanley and Anna Wyzykowski Owoc.
Julia was married to William J. Boczar, who preceded her in death on Feb. 18, 1992. They were married for 44 years.
Mrs. Boczar was of the Catholic faith and attended Holy Trinity Polish National Catholic Church.
Mrs. Boczar will be remembered by her family as a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She enjoyed reading, going to the library and gardening.
She loved spending time with her family, especially her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Boczar is survived by two children, Judith A. (William) White of Poland, Ohio, and David S. (Donna) Boczar of New Castle; five grandchildren, Michael (Emily), David and Nicole White, and Bryana and Dustin Boczar; and two great-grandchildren, Olivia and Bennett White.
In addition to her parents and husband, William J., she was preceded in death by four brothers, Charles, Anthony, Joseph and Walter Owoc; and two sisters, Jennie Pawlak and Jane Druschel.
Per her wishes, a Blessing service was held privately at the Noga Funeral Home Inc. The Rev. Dennis Bupp officiated.
Burial was in Madonna Cemetery.
