Lawrence J. Pascoe

Lawrence J. Pascoe, 88, formerly of John Street, passed away the evening of Nov. 17, 2017, at UPMC Jameson Hospital.
Born on May 1, 1929, in Ellwood City, Pa., he was the son of the late Frank and Margaret Francis Pascoe. On June 16, 1951, he married his beloved wife, the former Christina D'Errico, and the two spent over 57 years together until she preceded him in death on July 28, 2008.
Lawrence retired in 1987 as the Area Staff Assistant for Babcock & Wilcox. He attended First Christian Church in Ellwood City.
An avid outdoorsman, Lawrence enjoyed hunting, fishing, trap shooting and gardening. He was a lifetime member of the Castlewood Rod and Gun Club and Amateur Trap Shooting Association and also belonged to the Moraine Sportsman Club and Harrisville Deer Hunters Association.
Lawrence is survived by his children, Frank Pascoe and wife Belinda of New Castle and Mary Herko and husband Dennis of Lexington, Ky.; grandchildren, Kenny Pascoe and wife Raimee, Kristin Pascoe, Joe Pasco and wife Megan, Jason Herko and wife Tracey, and Krista Mullins and husband Joe; and nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Nancy Robinson, Barbara Wilson, Gloria Jean Pascoe and Margaret Ann Floyd.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 S. Mill St. Services will be conducted Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Thomas O'Brien of First Christian Church.
Entombment will take place in Castleview Memorial Gardens.
