Linda D. Brown Linda D. Brown, 66, of New Castle passed away the morning of Feb. 9, 2019, at UPMC Jameson Hospital.
Born Oct. 8, 1952, in New Castle, she was a daughter of the late Mack Sr. and Dorothy Dix Brown.
Linda had worked as a clerk for Adelphia and Comcast.
She enjoyed crocheting and reading.
Linda is survived by her children, Nicole Nored and her husband, Derrick, of Youngstown, Ohio, Carlos Brown of Newport, Kentucky, and Alexandrea Lewis of New Castle; brothers, Eddie Brown, Mack Brown Jr., Harry Brown and Reece Brown, all of New Castle, and Phillip Brown and his wife, Tonya, of Virginia; her sister, Regina Brown of New Castle; her brother-in-law, James Montgomery; and 10 grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by two sisters, Delores Montgomery and Evelyn Roye; and two brothers, Arthur Roye and Francis Brown Sr.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 S. Mill St.
A Homegoing service will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. The Rev. Keith Burley will officiate.
