Louise J. Dick, 96, of 112 S. Lee Ave. passed away the morning of Oct. 16, 2017, at the Golden Hill Nursing Home.
Louise was born April 1, 1921, in New Castle. She was the daughter of the late Kazimer and Sophia Dydek Boron.
Mrs. Dick was married to the late William Dick. He preceded her in death in 1963. They were married for 17 wonderful years.
Louise was of the Roman Catholic faith and attended St. Vincent de Paul Parish. Mrs. Dick was a graduate of New Castle High School, class of 1939.
Mrs. Dick retired after 15 years of service as a gold liner at the former Shenango Pottery Company. She will be remembered by her family as a loving sister, aunt and great-aunt.
Louise was a member of the First Presbyterian Center Senior Group, and a former member of the Silver Threads.
Louise is survived by her brother, Gabriel J. Boron of New Castle; numerous nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband William, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Stanley, Frank, Walter and Ben Boron, and two sisters, Josephine Paden and Ann Ferk.
Calling hours will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2017, at Noga Funeral Home Inc., 1142 S. Mill St.
A Blessing Service and Rite of Committal will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2017, in the funeral home. The Rev. Zachary Galiyas Parochial Vicar of St. Vincent De Paul Parish will officiate.
