Martha  Robinson

Martha Lewis Robinson, 81, of Jameson Care Center, Neshannock Township, formerly of Frazier Drive, New Castle, and Pulaski Township, died the morning of Monday, May 13, 2019, at Jameson Care Center.
Martha was born in Pulaski Township, Lawrence County to the late Selwyn and Dorothea Minner Lewis.
She married James R. Robinson on Sept. 17, 1955, and he preceded her in death in January 2009.
Martha was a 1955 graduate of Union High School.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of New Castle. She was formerly active in the church and Bible studies.
Martha was the former director of family care for the City Rescue Mission in New Castle for 23 years.
Survivors include a daughter, Lorrie Diane (Keith) Speir-Chrastina of Pulaski Township; two sons, Larry (Kristen) Robinson of New Wilmington and Lynn (Christy) Robinson of Arlington, Virginia; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Lonny and Lenny Robinson.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Smith Funeral Home, 310 W. Neshannock Ave., New Wilmington.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with visitation one hour prior to the service. The Rev. John Yergan of First Baptist Church will officiate.
Interment will follow at Fair Oaks Cemetery, New Wilmington.

Praying for you all! I remember our families getting together for cook outs, fishing at the pond in Pulaski. Playing games at your house! I remember your mom and dad coming over after Sunday evening services at the mission for sandwiches! I loved her hotdog relish and Christmas bread! Great memories!
