Mary Elizabeth Hill-Hartman, 61, of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2018, at Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, surrounded by her family.
Mary was born on Dec. 8, 1956, in New Castle to the late Philip and Jane (Russel) DeCarbo.
After graduating high school, Mary went on to further her education and completed college with a bachelor's degree in mathematics.
She retired from IBM as an IT architect.
She is survived by her loving husband of 16 years, Gregory V. Hartman, of Mechanicsburg; two sons Stephen W. Hill of Brooklyn, New York, and David P. Hill of Pittsburgh; a daughter, Elizabeth K. Hill of Whitehall, Pennsylvania; and a brother, Philip DeCarbo of New Castle.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the West Shore Baptist Church, 2025 Market St., Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, with the Rev. Frank Frischkorn officiating.
A time of reflections and refreshments will be held following the service in the fellowship hall at the church.
Myers-Harner Funeral and Cremation Services, Camp Hill, has been entrusted with funeral arrangements.
