Norma J. Wargo

October 04, 2018

Norma J. (Donnelly) Wargo, 81, of West Pittsburg passed away at UPMC Jameson on the evening of Oct. 4, 2018.
Born in New Castle, Norma was a daughter of the late Arthur J. and Blanche E. Moore Donnelly.
She attended and graduated from New Castle High and married the late James J. Wargo Sr.
James was a military man, and Norma found herself raising their two children as her husband was stationed in various bases.
Norma was also a pharmacy tech for Russo Pharmacy and Hometown Pharmacy.
Norma was Catholic and faithfully attended Holy Cross before transferring to St. Vincent de Paul. She was a member of Challenges and was a 20-year caretaker for her husband and son.
Norma loved many things, especially Barbra Streisand movies, the Pittsburgh Steelers, a dog named Vegas, and her daily conversations with Joanne, Jenn and niece Patty. But, nothing compared to her love for family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly McGary of Round Rock, Texas; grandchildren, Justin McGary (Xenia Conner) of Round Rock and Tyler and Joshua Wargo, both of New Castle; daughter-in-law, Donna (Eardley) Wargo of New Castle; sister, Ella Jones of West Pittsburg; and many nieces and nephews.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Blanche; husband, James Sr.; brother, Howard S. Moore Sr.; son, James Wargo Jr.; granddaughter, Sharon McGary; and son-in-law, Tracy McGary.
Visitation and services were held 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2018, at the Terry A. Cunningham Funeral Home, 203 Oak St. in Bessemer. The 6 p.m. service was officiated by Pat Daughtry.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be offered to Huntington Disease, Western Pa. Chapter, Box 1196, Pittsburgh, Pa. 15108.

Sorry to Justine for the misspelling of his name and also to Vegas the dog. Its sad to see us lose another avid Steeler fan , may Norma rest well.
