Pamela Marie Engle
Pam will forever be remembered for her relentlessly kind spirit and her devotion to her family.
Pam loved to spend her time making the home that she shared with her parents warm and inviting, and she always looked forward to hosting family events. At Christmas, she filled every room with elaborate displays of decorations, trees, lights, train sets and movable figurines.
Like her mother, Pam loved to cook, and she made a point to remember each family member's favorite food so that she was sure to have something special for everyone. She also loved to garden.
Pam was a graduate of Blackhawk High School. She worked as a beautician and then in retail for the majority of her career. In her spare time, she would make and sell crafts at local craft fairs.
Pam is survived by her mother, Joan Engle; her four siblings, Paul Engle (Christy), Tammy Mallary, Kimberly Engle-Lacey (Gary) and Stephen "Rick" Engle; and her six nieces and nephews, Paul Engle (Kat), Michael Engle (McKenzie), Stephen Mallary (Brad), Kathryn Mallary (Eve), Brooke Lacey and A.J. Goempel.
The family would like to offer a special "Thank You" to the Lawrence County Blind Association and New Castle Dialysis Center for their wonderful care of Pam during her illness.
Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 South Mill St.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Father Serphim Moslener will officiate.
Interment will be in Little Beaver Cemetery.
