Patricia Vincent Patricia Vincent, 70, of New Castle passed away the morning of Thursday, Jan. 17, 2019, at her residence.
Mrs. Vincent was born Oct. 11, 1948, in New Castle, to the late Edward and Dorothy Smith Allison.
Patricia is survived by her husband of 48 years and the love of her life, Dennis C. Vincent.
Patricia earned her diploma as a registered nurse from Jameson Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. She continued her studies in nursing and received her bachelor of science in nursing from Penn State. Patricia later graduated from La Roche College with a master's of nursing degree.
Patricia was employed for 18 years at Jameson Memorial Hospital as a registered nurse and as a nursing instructor. She was later employed at St. Elizabeth Hospital as the head of medical surgical units and as an administrator. She then served as the director of nursing at Indian Creek Nursing Home. Patricia retired from Ellwood City Hospital's geriatric unit.
Patricia held memberships in various nursing associations.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are her two children, Allyson (Patrick) Mondora of Struthers, Ohio, and Adam (Lori) Vincent of New Castle; a sister, Sandra Allison of New Castle; and her three grandchildren, Valentina Vincent, Vionna Vincent and Gina Mordora.
Calling hours will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday at the William F. and Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home Inc. 926 Cunningham Ave.
A procession will leave funeral home at 12:30 p.m. Saturday for St. Vitus Church, where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Victor J. Molka Jr. serving as celebrant.
Interment will be in St. Vitus Cemetery.

Dennis, So sad to read about Patty passing . Four of us rode to La Roche college to obtain our Masters degree , Patty ,Kathy M . Kay H. And myself many dinners we shared and laughs . I would have come to her viewing but we were snowed in . When your daughter was in that terrible accident we went to the hospital all together and prayed. She was a great lady and a very caring one too. I extend my sympathy to you and your family
