Patsy Fiello, 77, of New Castle went to be with his Lord and Savior the morning of Thursday, Dec. 28, 2017, at Avalon Nursing Home.
Born on April 15, 1940, in New Castle, he was a son of Italian immigrants, the former Michael A. Sr. and Mary N. Colepietro Fiello.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, the former Lois A. Hilyard, whom he married on April 8, 1958.
Patsy retired as the co-owner and mechanic for Fiello Transmission Service.
He was a member of First Alliance Church.
Patsy enjoyed gardening and woodworking.
He will be remembered as a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather, and a selfless man who always put others first.
In addition to his wife, Patsy is survived by his children, Chandra Polley and husband, Robert, of New Castle, Patti Fennick and husband, Timothy, of Beaver Falls, Roxanne Perkins and husband, Joseph, of New Castle, Pasquale Fiello Jr. and wife, Michele, of West Pittsburg and Christopher Fiello of New Castle; brother, Frank Fiello of New Castle; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Tony Fiello, Michael Fiello Jr., and Salvatore Fiello.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 S. Mill St.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Phillip Harrison of First Alliance Church.
Interment will take place in St. Vitus Cemetery.
