Pauline Rossano, 92, formerly of Hazelcroft Avenue, passed away the morning of Sunday, Dec. 17, 2017, at Assumption Village in North Lima, Ohio.
Born on June 20, 1925, in New Castle, she was a daughter of the late Renato and Effie Peluso.
On July 16, 1951, she married her beloved husband, James B. Rossano, and the two of them spent more than 58 years together until he preceded her in death on May 18, 2010.
Pauline was a member of St. Vitus Church. She enjoyed cooking, baking and flower gardening. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who cherished the time she spent with her family and friends, especially her special needs son, Renato, and granddaughter, Georgiann.
Pauline is survived by her children, Jamie Bernard and husband, Nick, of Youngstown, Ohio, Rosemary Pavlich and husband, George of Poland, Ohio, and Renato Rossano of New Castle; and granddaughter, Georgiann Pavlich Kirdahy.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Raymond and Paul Peluso; and sister, Mary Hartmann.
Honoring her wishes, there were no calling hours and private blessing services were held at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 3000 Wilmington Road, officiated by Matthew Hawkins, St. Vitus Church seminarian.
Interment took place in St. Joseph Cemetery.
