Pearl J. Rizzo Pearl J. Rizzo, 70, of Neshannock Township, formerly of Maitland Street, passed away the morning of Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2019, at Avalon Place.
Born on Feb. 2, 1948, in New Castle, she was a daughter of the late Cosimo L. and Viola Rozzi Rizzo.
Pearl had worked at Liberty Mutual, McBride Shannon Insurance Co. as an insurance agent and, up until recently, at Walmart in Union Township.
She was a member of St. Vitus Parish.
Pearl was a loving mother and grandmother, and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Pearl is survived by her children, Lori Litrenta and her husband, Chris, of New Castle, and Kelly Madl and her husband, David, of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania; and two grandchildren, Christopher M. Litrenta and Grace E. Madl.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 S. Mill St.
A procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Saturday for St. Vitus Church, where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m.
The Rev. William Siple will officiate.
Interment will be in Parkside Cemetery.
