Ralph L. Martone Ralph L. Martone, 92, of New Castle passed away the morning of Feb. 14, 2019, at his residence.
Born Oct. 2, 1926, in New Castle, he was a son of the late Anthony and Mary Serafino Martone.
On Oct. 1, 1955, he married his beloved wife, the former Margaret Masuelli, who preceded him in death on Feb. 14, 2016.
Ralph was a bricklayer by trade and owned Ralph's Fireplace Center for many years.
He served his country as a member of the Army during World War II.
He was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Church.
Ralph was also a member of the Bricklayers Union of Western Pennsylvania, and enjoyed gardening and his woodworking.
Ralph is survived by his children, Ralph A. Martone and his wife, Denise, of Grampian, Pennsylvania, Anthony Martone and his wife, Robyn, of New Castle, Mary Menniti and her husband, John, of Pittsburgh, and Joseph Martone and his wife, Jessica, of Austin, Texas; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and wife, Ralph was preceded in death by his sister, Louise Berkos; and his grandson, Michael A. Martone.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 S. Mill St.
A Blessing service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Parkside Cemetery.
