Robert (Bob) V. Naplen


Robert "Bob" V. Naplen, 54, of New Castle passed away the evening of Feb. 4, 2019, at UPMC Jameson Hospital.
Born Feb. 23, 1964, he was a son Dorothy O'Shea Naplen and the late Norman Naplen.
Bob had previously worked as a truck driver for Dandy Transportation.
Bob was a huge Beatles fan and he enjoyed collecting different types of vinyl. Bob was also an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
In addition to his mother, Bob is survived by his daughter, Andrea Bell and her husband, Michael, of Sewickley; his brother, Norman Naplen of Boyers, Pennsylvania; his sisters, Joanne Delaney and her husband, Kevin, of New Castle, and Kim Lowe and her husband, Rob, of West Middlesex; his nephew, Kyle Delaney; and his niece, Olivia Lowe.
In honoring Bob's wishes, there will be no calling hours.
A private Homegoing celebration will be held by his family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 S. Mill St.
