Robert Lee's Story
Robert Lee Foster, 68, of Valley View Drive, New Wilmington, died the morning of Wednesday, July 12, 2017, at his residence.
He was born in Grove City on March 5, 1948, to Robert LeRoy and Evelyn Mae Seth Foster.
He married Teresa Marie Friede on April 27, 1974, and she survives at the residence.
He graduated from Columbiana (Ohio) High School and Grove City College with a bachelor of science in electrical engineering.
He retied from First Energy (PennPower) in 2010.
He was a member of the New Wilmington Presbyterian Church and enjoyed helping others in need with his positive outlook and love of woodworking.
Survivors include his wife, Teresa; a daughter, Carrie (Tony) Spehar of Bulgar, Pennsylvania; two sons, Rob (Audra) Foster of Mars, Pennsylvania, and Mike (Sheena) Foster of Libermore, California; two grandsons, James and Gavin; his mother, Evelyn Foster of Winchester, Kentucky; and three sisters, Barbie Foster of Carlsbad, California, Sheri Lamoncha of Columbiana, Ohio, and Susan Edwards of Lexington, Kentucky.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Smith Funeral Home, New Wilmington.
The funeral will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Lisa Hickman officiating. Interment will follow at Neshannock Cemetery, New Wilmington.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
