We are so very sorry for your loss. Roger was one of a kind, I never heard him talk poorly about anyone, I remember his smile, sense of humor and kindness.....OH and the hair!

Here is story I hope will make you smile through your tears. My uncle Troy always talked about “that head of hair” 😁 He and Roger even teased each other about it when they saw each other, no matter how much time had been between visits. My uncle had 2 strands he combed over his bald spot & Roger once told him he was just jealous.

Rest In Peace dear cousin (Troy’s nephew). We will truly miss you, but are glad you are no longer suffering. Wish we could have managed that trip to Portsmouth with Uncle Tro
...y. He so wanted you and your baby sister, Carolyn, to make that trip with us. I guess now we will have a guardian angel on that trip when we finally do make it. 🙇🏻‍♀️😘

Love from the Cincinnati cousins and Uncle Troy

Picture below is of Roger & Troy at the family lunch after Ella Russell Slone’s funeral 2 1/2 years ago. So sad that is the last time we saw you. We always think there will be more time.
