Rose B. Cionni

Rose Betty Cionni, 93, of 10th Street, West Pittsburg, died Friday, Feb. 8, 2019, at Quality Life Services New Castle. She was born on March 14, 1925, in New Castle, a daughter of the late Joseph and Antoinette (Tummeillo) Latona. She was married to the late Alfred D. Cionni, who died April 16, 1988.
Mrs. Cionni was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and flower gardening. She also loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by one daughter, Rosalind V. Kosior of West Pittsburg; her daughter-in-law, Volga Markum of Valdosta, GA; four grandchildren, Anthony J. Kosior, Michael J. Kosior and wife, Dawna, Joseph R. Kosior and wife, Dawn, and Shawn L. Kosior; and three great-grandchildren, Nicole Neely and husband, Micah, Amanda Kosior, and Brent Kosior.
She was also preceded in death by her son, Alfred Cionni; three brothers, Joseph Butera, James Butera, and Albert Latona; and her sister, Esther Tonsetic.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Ave. on Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2019, from 4 to 7 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2019, at 11 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Church. Father Joseph McCaffrey will be officiating. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the St. Vitus Cemetery. Online condolences can be sent to www.williamrogerdecarbo.com.
