Vincent A. Strecansky, 72, of Pulaski passed away the afternoon of Monday, Nov. 20, 2017, at his residence.
Born on June 23, 1945, in Arlington, Virginia, he was a son of the late Theodore and Myrtle Redmond Strecansky.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, the former Margaret Rudzik, whom he married on Dec. 30, 1966.
After 40 years of working, Vincent retired from the material supply department for General Motors in Lordstown, Ohio.
He had attended St. James the Apostle Church.
Vincent was an avid golfer and enjoyed flying radio-controlled airplanes. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR and listening to music.
In addition to his wife, Vincent is survived by his children, Rick Strecansky and wife, Jennifer, of Columbiana, Ohio, and Kimberly Labbiento and husband, Domenic, of New Bedford, Pennsylvania; sister, Stephanie Strecansky of Hermitage; and grandchildren, Joseph Labbiento, Noah Labbiento, Emilia Labbiento and Jillian Strecansky.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his good friend and pet dog, Harley.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Friday at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 3000 Wilmington Road.
Services will be conducted at noon Friday at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Ralph Edwards of Good Hope Lutheran Church of North Lima, Ohio.
