Viola Elisco Viola Elisco, 93, of New Castle passed away the morning of Feb. 14, 2019, at her home, surrounded by her family.
Born Nov. 2, 1925, in New Castle, she was a daughter of the late Silvio and Marie Malone Roselli.
On Oct. 30, 1947, she married her beloved husband, Benjamin L. Elisco, who preceded her in death on May 17, 1996.
Viola was a devoted partner to her late husband, Benjamin, and loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Viola was a member of St. Vitus Parish. A woman of faith and the heart of the Elisco family, Viola shaped her children spirituality by her tireless Catholic faith example.
Viola is survived by her children, Cecelia Petrucci and her husband, Joey Jr., of New Castle, Frank Elisco and his wife, Chickie, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and David Elisco and his wife, Carol, of New Castle; grandchildren, Stephane Elisco, Ashley Petrucci, Jona Elisco (Emily), Melinda Moore, Stacy Conti (Richard), Joseph Lalama (Kristen) and Jimmy Pezzone (Christi); and great-grandchildren, Joseph, Giavanna, Luca, Nico, Annalynn, Emma, Lucia, Alexandrea, Jason, Nicholas and Richard.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Cecelia Saul; four brothers, Augustine Roselli and wife, Rose, Louis Roselli and wife, Dorothy, Domenick Roselli and wife, Ang, and Alfred Roselli; and a granddaughter, Christine Lalama.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 S. Mill St.
A procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Monday for St. Vitus Church, where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. The Rev. Anthony Sciarappa will officiate.
Entombment will be in Parkside Cemetery.
