Wayne P. Hiles, 73, of Pulaski, Pa., passed away the morning of Nov. 3, 2017, at UPMC Jameson Hospital.
Born on Feb. 13, 1944, in New Castle, he was the son of the late Lloyd R. and Frances Reid Hiles. Surviving at home is his beloved wife of 39 years, the former Joanmarie Bogdan, whom he married on April 1, 1978.
Wayne had worked on the railroad for Youngstown Sheet and Tube and retired as a truck driver for Verizon Phone. He was a devout member of Bible Baptist Temple of Campbell, Ohio. Strong in his faith, Wayne knew he was going to be with his Lord in Heaven. He always will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather, who cherished the time he spent with his family.
In addition to his wife, Wayne is survived by his children, Matthew Hiles and wife Kyleigh of East Palestine, Ohio, and Rachel Hiles of Houston, Pa.; and grandchildren, Shawn, Christian and Alyssa.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant son, Paul Michael Hiles; brother, Richard E. Hiles; and sisters, Barbara Altman and Phyllis Pacai.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 S. Mill St. Services will be conducted Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, conducted by Pastor Matt Ferguson of the Bible Baptist Temple.
Interment will take place in Parkside Cemetery.
