Agnes E. (Herman) Moses, 90, formerly of Wilson Avenue, passed away the morning of Monday, Feb. 6, 2017, at UPMC Jameson Care Center.
Agnes was born on July 4, 1926, in New Castle. She was a daughter of the late John and Mary Bedek Herman.
Agnes was married to the late Albert (Cab) Moses. He preceded her in death on March 2, 1986.
She was of the Maronite Catholic faith and was a member of St. John the Baptist Maronite Catholic Church.
Agnes was a graduate of New Castle High School, class of 1944.
Mrs. Moses retired after 34 years as a bookkeeper at the former Standard Distribution Co. in New Castle.
Agnes was a member of St. John the Baptist Maronite Ladies Rosary and Altar Society. Mrs. Moses enjoyed shopping and cooking for her family.
Agnes is survived by a brother, Alexander Herman of New Castle; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Albert, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Michael and John Herman; and a sister, Caroline M. Herman.
Calling hours will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Noga Funeral Home Inc., 1142 S. Mill St., New Castle.
A procession will leave the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Friday for St. John the Baptist Maronite Church, where a funeral service will be celebrated at 11 a.m. The Rev. Claude W. Franklin Jr. will officiate.
