Ann M. Miller, 88, formerly of Cascade Street, passed away the morning of Wednesday, April 26, 2017, at the Haven Convalescent Home.
Born in New Castle on March 1, 1929, Ann was a daughter of the late Carman and Dorothy Mitlo Stone.
Preceding her in death on March 17, 1996, was her husband, Robert L. Miller Sr., whom she married on March 31, 1951.
Ann was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Church. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family.
Ann cherished the times she spent surrounded by her family, especially her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her four children, Robert Miller Jr. and his wife, Lisa, Sharon Benegasi and her husband, Michael, Kathy Kirkwood and Jeff "Worm" Miller and his wife, Janice "Janie", all of New Castle; her sister, Rose Temperato of New Castle; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Ann was preceded in death by her sisters, Laura Mooney and Lucille Cepro; her brother, Frank "BoBo" Stone; and her son-in-law, Mark Kirkwood Sr.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 S. Mill St.
A procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Saturday for St. Joseph the Worker Church, where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m., officiated by the Rev. Joseph Codori.
Entombment will take place at Castle View Memorial Gardens.
