Dorothy Bray, 80, of 110 W. Fairmont Ave., New Castle, passed away the morning of Feb. 8, 2017, in The Grove at New Wilmington.
Dorothy was born Sept. 15, 1936, in New Castle. She was the daughter of Joseph and Joan Dec Presnar. Dorothy was Roman Catholic and attended St. Camillus de Lellis Parish. She was a graduate of Union High School, class of 1954.
Mrs. Bray retired after many years of service as a Distribution Clerk at the United States Post Office. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and aunt. Dorothy was a lifelong member of St. Camillus Lady's Guild.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Kathy J. Oprean of New Castle; four grandchildren, Eric, Amber, Alaina and Ean Oprean; her loving niece, Melissa (David) Boston of New Castle; and two great-nieces, Lauren and Lindsey Boston; and all her grandpets that brought so much joy to her life.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Presnar.
Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2017, at the Noga Funeral Home Inc., 1142 S. Mill St., New Castle.
A procession will leave the funeral home Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. for St. Camillus de Lellis Parish, where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. The Rev. Michael R. Peck, pastor of St. Camillus de Lellis Parish, will officiate. Rite of Committal and entombment will be in Castleview Mausoleum. Donations can be made in her name to the ASPCA at 350 E.
