Dorothy E. Exline, 59, of New Castle passed away the morning of Friday, May 19, 2017, at Edison Manor.
Born on July 10, 1957, in New Castle, she was a daughter of the late Chester and Wanda Gibson Stoddard.
Dorothy worked as a licensed practical nurse at Golden Hill Nursing Home.
She enjoyed going to bingo, playing cards with her family, camping and fishing. Dorothy's greatest joy came from spending time with her loved ones. She enjoyed taking Eddie Jr. and Anthony to the dollar store and spending time with her dog and loyal companion, Buddy.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Norman Burrows Jr. and his wife, Rachel, Chester Burrows and his wife, Christina, and Marsha Kent, all of New Castle; her stepdaughter, Jodie Fitzgerald and her husband, Ted, of New Castle; her brothers, Harry Kavanaugh and his wife, Laurie, Garry Stoddard, Edward Stoddard and James Jenkins; her sisters, Cheryl Gibson and her husband, Roy, Joyce Fox, Della Stoddard, Georgia George and her husband, Fred, Audrey Stoddard and Janice Jenkins; 16 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; her husband, Larry Exline; and her former husband, Norman Burrows Sr.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Thomas Gibson, Donald Stoddard and Kenneth Stoddard; her sisters, Mildred Stoddard and Margaret Kavanaugh; her nephew, Freddie Binkers George; and her niece, Sara Mae Stoddard.
There are no calling hours, and services are private.
