Edward Allen Reno, 53, of New Castle passed away the morning of Sept. 22, 2017, at his residence with his family by his side.
Edward was born March 7, 1964, in New Castle to the late Gene F. Reno and his mother, Rachel Main Reno, who survives.
Mr. Reno married the former Geneva R. Miller. She survives at home. They were married for 28 years.
Edward was of the Protestant faith and a member of Gardner Chapel.
Mr. Reno worked for Youngstown Specialty Metals in the rolled steel department. He also worked as a carpenter for many years.
Edward had a love for the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and tracking. He loved to talk on the phone and constructing projects with wood. Edward loved his family and enjoyed time spent with his friends.
In addition to his mother Rachel and wife Geneva; he is survived by his three children, Roxanne (Anthony) Houk and Samantha Reno, both of New Castle, and his son, Edward James Reno of Pittsburgh, Pa.; two brothers, Tony (Sandy) Reno of Missouri and Geno Reno of New Castle; five sisters, Betty Suisi, Connie (John) Duncan, Linda (Albert) Jackson, Cindy (Dave) Suber and Laurie Lewis, all of New Castle; and four grandchildren, Jadalyn Houk, Carmella Houk, Marley Kerr and Amorae Annarumo.
Edward was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
Calling hours will be held 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2017, at the Noga Funeral Home, Inc. 1142 S. Mill St.
A funeral service will be conducted Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the funeral home by Rev. Darren Abraham of Gardner Chapel. Arrangements were entrusted to the Noga Funeral Home Inc.
