Felix O. "Frog" Krause III, 78, of Conneautville, Pennsylvania, passed away the evening of Saturday, May 20, 2017, at Rolling Fields in Conneautville.
Born on March 25, 1939, in New Castle, he was a son of the late Felix Jr. and Pearl Withrow Krause.
On April 14, 1960, he married his beloved wife, the former Blanche Duffy, and the two of them spent more than 34 years together until she preceded him in death on May 18, 1994.
Felix had worked for Airway Luggage.
He also served his country as a member of the Marine Corps.
An avid outdoorsman, Felix enjoyed fishing and hunting. He attended Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. His greatest joy came from spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Felix is survived by his children, Bonnie Combs and her husband, David, of Loris, South Carolina, Felix Krause IV and his wife, Diane, of Watkinsville, Georgia, and Billie Jo Scott and her husband, Rick, of Conneautville; his brothers, Charles Krause and John Krause, both of New Castle; 16 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his brother, James Krause.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 S. Mill St.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Ellen Lundie of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
