Georges H. Boutros, 33, of New Castle passed away the evening of Monday, March 27, 2017, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, following a short illness.
Born on Aug. 28, 1983, in Houston, Texas, he was a son of Hanna G. Boutros of Lebanon and Theresa Fitzgerald Boutros of New Castle.
Georges had worked as a certified auto mechanic for Sears Auto Center and Demyan's Auto Garage.
He was a member of St. Vitus Church. Georges had served in the Christian Militia and protected the Christian Lebanese border.
He enjoyed hunting, riding dirt bikes and four-wheeling.
The family would like others to know that Georges was an organ donor, whose donation gave life to others.
In addition to his parents, Georges is survived by his special niece, Shakira Boutros; his best friend who was like a brother to him, Michiall Barhoome; and several aunts, uncles and many cousins who loved him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Boutros; his maternal grandparents, Paul and Patricia Fitzgerald; and his paternal grandparents, Hasna and Georges Boutros.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 S. Mill St.
A procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Thursday to attend a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. at St. Vitus Church, conducted by the Rev. Frank Almade.
Interment will take place in Parkside Cemetery.
